Hello there. My name is Tara, and welcome to my photography world.

I absolutely love taking photos. The rush I get when I take an image I love and that my subjects love is unlike any other and keeps me clicking the shutter and striving for the next best image. I work tirelessly at photography because it’s not work, its a passion. I’ve always had an instinct in me to take a minute wherever and whenever I am in life, to hit the pause button and absorb, revel and wonder. It’s my way of recording a moment and a feeling. Growing up, this was manifested in my devotion to writing in a journal. Now, I find that photography provides a similar outlet for me on a personal level, and I love translating that into something that other people can use in their own life – to record a moment, to revel and to wonder. Photographs may seem like a dime a dozen, but all it takes is that one astounding moment in the middle of our crazy lives, to give someone a treasure forever, and that is priceless.

My other passions and interests include: dancing, music, being silly, handbags, starry nights, snowfall, autumn leaves, family time, cooking, chaos of the city, the still of the country, doodling on paper, playing devil’s advocate, debating, making my friends smile, giving presents, stationary, magazines, astronomy, physics, theory, elegance, wine country, and…images. Your images. Our Images…making someone pause for just a moment to ponder a moment and a feeling. I like to call it wonderment.
